Nice specimen! Congrats!

I see you’re in Ohio. Was that from the Sam Ash in Columbus? I was in there last year with Leftymeister. They had a ton of Gibson’s then - including some nice lefties.

Nice looking LP; however, I like the 1972 Cutlass better. :)

I am from Ohio, as well, and have purchased a left handed guitar from the Sam Ash in Columbus.
Three of the four guitars I currently own have come from Sam Ash stores here in Southwest Florida.
Congratulations on the new LP, bud!

I am loving this thru that dang Marshall. Put it in the 40 watt mode, set it on the green channel and go! It doesnt matter if its the bridge or neck. Both sound good.

Foggy I have heard of them . I have not seen them play yet , but will keep an eye out to check them out. Tribute bands are pretty big here.

Foggy , thanks for the video. They are pretty good. I used to go to Rockin on the River until they moved it 3 counties away.

Les Pauls are great guitars. Having said that, I had a 76 Les Paul Custom back in the day that was a turd. It played nice but the sound was lifeless. Had to be the particular piece of wood it was made from. I sold it way too cheap.

I have a 60's Tribute Gold Top that is a monster. It just has a cheap matte finish. I put a pickguard on it where I wore through the finish in about 6 months. Still a real nice guitar though. I put an ABR-1 bridge and featherweight tailpiece on it. Did not like the stock bridge.

I wanted a Custom badly at one point, but now with the crazy High Performance ones they're LP Customs on crack (same pickups, etc) and I'll call having two good. Maybe.

Probably, just because, well, even used hurts the wallet and I am not exactly swimming in cash on disability!

So I ended up taking the original knobs off and installing reflectors with pointers( for geezer eyes) , puting a poker chip on. I cant figure out why they didnt have one on , but apparently its something new with Gibson. Then I ended up putting straplocks on. The new strap buttons are larger so you cant use the beer washers. All in all a much better look I think.
