UK online supplier was knocking these out as end of line at the same prices as high end squiers so had to have it..,my sixth telecaster at the moment.

Nice and light well set up and good bite from the pickups.

Might upgrade the pups further on.

thanks its a great guitar nicely setup as well.

I have a 68 tele, hot rod 52 RI and various parts teles as well and this can run with any of them.

My 12 year old daughter has already used it for 2 gigs last week and I will be using it for a beach bar gig next week so its been put to good use.

Nice score.

I'm still waiting for the "old" Standards price drop with the new Player series on line now.

No changes in price here yet :^(

I had a 2013 model just like yours, but I swapped the pickguard for a black 3-ply. I liked the black & white contrast.
