Absolutely makes no sense. I've had a Cool Cat, Harm 1, AL-3100. While I wasn't in love with the Harm it was a decent guitar (also the cheapest). When I ordered the AL-3100 I asked for a different pickguard and lighter guitar if possible. You know what? I got both. In addition the AL-3100 was ridiculously good. It ain't like me not to swap pickups but I found no reason to, the stock Alnicos were great.

But I sold them all before moving to Fla. I have a LP but it's a 50's Trib with P90's. I have a double humbucker but it's semi hollow. I have a couple of green guitars, but none are flamed.

Pre-order placed, we'll see.

Its grrrreen

I've been looking at that one as well. Let us know what you think. And as usual, pics.

I’ve got an Epi Elitest coming eventually. I’ll hold out for that. (-:

I've owned 3 Agiles. I sold a 3100 because the bookmatched top didn't match and it bothered me. lol!

I still own a 2500 Goldtop P90. I installed Lollars and it's a keeper for life.

I've still got two. One is a LP-o-copy. It's an '04-ish AL 3100P. It has the 3/4" maple cap. It plays like a dream. It weights almost 11lbs.

:-/

It also has a scrawny neck.

It currently has a pair of HB-sized P90s wound by Aaron. Tone for days.

It's worth more to me than the little money I'd get selling it.

It will be worth the wait, trust me.

"It also has a scrawny neck."

I like big necks and I cannot lie. The AL-3100 I previously had didn't seem to have a scrawny neck, but it was unextraordinary. My Epi ES-335 Pro neck is notably anorexic and a definite downside to an otherwise very good guitar. On paper, I really like the specs on this Agile (is it Ah-gee-lay?). :-)

^ The D shaped neck profile is the only reason I sold my Epi ES-335 Pro. It's one of the few neck shapes that I just can't get along with, and I really tried.

Now back to your regularly scheduled Agile discussion.

For the price and secondary use, I can live with the neck on the Epi. I would not gig this guitar if I was still playing out though.

I sold my Heritage 535 partly because of the thin neck. The neck on my current Gretsch Streamliner is much more beefy. It gets a LOT of play time.

I’ve often wondered about the agile brand.

How are the p90s? Good build? Wiring?

I notice they are usually quite heavy...for me anyway.

Interestingly, I opened the case for my Agile LP today and was amazed at how nice it looked. Nice flames on 'Burst finish. It plays and sounds good too.

I have it set up for slide, currently, but I may turn it back for "regular" use (I don't play slide often).

ps - My Agile LP weighs less than my Gibson LP.

Ryder, my P90 Goldtop is about 8 lbs. The fit and finish are very good. I paid $200 for it a decade ago, gutted it, and installed Lollar P90s. For $400, I have a keeper for life. I can't begin to sell this guitar for what's it's worth to me.

My Harm1 had P90s. I didn't care for the stock ones and replaced them with Duncan Antiquities.

Their stock P90's are a bit harsh.

I had the same guitar as LM. Yeah, the stock P90s have ceramic magnets and are a bit harsh.

Their humbuckers with A5 magnets are pretty nice.
