It got finished sooner than I expected (just ordered mid-June - must've already been in process), but it came in to the shop in Omaha on Friday; I'm going down tomorrow to pick it up.
Remember - this is the one I'm getting at dealer cost since they forgot to order my Custom last December.
Pics and a review in a few days. My wife and I are going to visit her mom over Labor Day weekend; I'm guessing this is the guitar I'll be taking - to get to know it better.
Bonus - on the way home I get to stop and see my grandson!

Very cool! :^)
Looking forward to that one, too - I was just telling someone about your build for me after church today. But take your time - remember: today is a day of rest!

Lovely guitar. The tone lives in the mids - no surprise there. It has light strings on it; I'll replace in a few days with either Retro Medium Light LJ's or MSP 4150 Medium Light Phosphor Bronze (I'll eventually try both, and others). The high B and E need to be a 17 and 13, at least for now, to punch up the tone and volume. Maybe after the guitar is broken in/loosened up, Medium-Lights will be adequate. The low E sounded excellent open, but was a little floppy and indistinct with a capo on the 2nd fret - but again, that's about the strings, not the guitar itself...
The wood is beautiful all around - good job Martin. The fretboard is plenty dark; I may add some oil to the bridge at some point to darken it a bit more. Pick guard looks great, as does the simple rosette and small CF Martin logo. Oh, and it is incredibly light!
The neck is two pieces, plus at least one wing - can't tell for sure on the other side. Set up is very good; I may lower the E and B strings a tad, and lower the saddle just a bit. But with the lights on it, it's very easy to play. It has a 1 3/4" nut, MLO neck with standard taper and 2 1/4" at the bridge - all of this feels perfect in my hands (these guitars are Plek'd, btw). Bridge pins (ebony) look great, they will stay. The strap button won't go all the way in; I'm going to have to do some reaming or sanding... hmmm...
So far, enjoying it, both strummed and picked. It does have a midrange focused sound, but that's it's charm. Plenty of volume now, but there will be more with a string change and when it opens up over the months.
The pics aren't great - from my cell phone last night - the ones with the flash glare actually show the wood color most accurately. First one I took with the guitar sitting in the back seat of the car right after I picked it up - sent it to my wife so she could see what it looked like.
