...this week! Reverb has been good to me.
One sold in under 24 hours for my asking price + shipping (a 1994 Pimentel classical) to someone in New York, NY.
The second was my Gibson J-45. Great guitar, but I just felt like a couple of my Larrivee L bodies out performed it - and I need the cash to pay for my Martin acquisitions.
The Gibson had been on Reverb for about a week. I was thinking today, "Do I lower the price a little - maybe 5%?" Then after the Vikings-Packers game I get an e-mail notification of an offer for it - for $25 MORE than my asking price (+ full shipping)! When does that happen?!
The only thing I can think of is the buyer (in Nashville) saw that I'd had six offers - but they were all so low-ball that I never even got an e-mail notification about them. Maybe he thought he should make sure this one didn't get away...
Nice to have some money in the paypal account.

This gives me a sort of "reverse-gas" - the desire to start listing stuff like crazy on Reverb!
It's a Dave Ramsey sort of gas...sell, Sell, SELL!!!
(I would have listed all of 'em by now, but taking pics and getting last minute tweaks done takes a lot more time than I have in any one day or week.)

"Reverse GAS?"
We took a vote while you were out having a smoke, and decided you're probably not a *real* guitar player.
Thought you should know :o)

"I was going to ask if there is something on the horizon."
You mean, like, incoming guitars? Yes, the three that have been mentioned here in various threads:
1) my custom order Martin J-18 (that didn't get ordered originally - so now will probably arrive near the end of this year);
2) a Martin J-40 ordered about a month ago; no telling when that one will show up, but the shop I ordered through said around 3 months;
3) the Tele you're building me, which will be "one out, one in" - so no actual growth or reduction in the collection.
I currently have around 4-5 more acoustics to sell, and 1-2 electrics, but those electrics need work that I don't have time to do right now...

As someone whose only ever owned one acoustic at a time, I'm intrigued by a circumstance to need to sell 4-5 acoustics. Different strokes for sure.
I hope they sell fast for you.

I guess I started on acoustic and have always been as much of an acoustic player (or more) than an electric player.
I have more electrics right now, but the acoustic arsenal is the one that I've been focusing on lately, so it's the one that's growing. On my own time, I'm playing a lot more acoustic.
In worship on Sunday mornings, it's 95% electric...but if a good electric player showed up and joined the band, I'd switch to acoustic if needed.
