I current use the Mini CMD 121P. I like it a lot. I've been thinking of adding a New York 121 for those rare occasions when a little more is needed.

I'd love to hear any comments you might share.

I have one of their guitar amps, not bass - the EVO1- and I love it, despite what I see as some frustrating design flaws. It's a modelling amp but with intuitive controls and no display screen or programming. It sounds great.

Why do I keep fixing things that work?

Maybe he's talking about the DV Mark amps?
I was interested in the 40 watt head, which seemed interesting but not many good comments were made toward the quality of the build. Most said it had good sound but were saddened by the build quality. The price was about $650 and had all the things needed for me, effects loop and two independent channels with selective ohm output for different speaker types. Would need to try one to make a better decision before buying one. The model I was interested in is the Greg Howe and the same remark was made by most people, that the cleans were good and the distortion channel was nasty, with no real characteristics or useable settings.
I don't know if anyone here has or tried one but the 40 watt head looked like a nice fit for the music we are playing.
Edited for price and model viewed.

My only Markbass experience is with Little Mark IIIs. On the off chance that it might mean something, I've seen claims that the Indonesian stuff isn't as good as the Italian; but I have one of each and couldn't tell which was which in a blind test.
