Reverends have always escaped me because I shop for a used deal. These seem fairly infrequently in lefty-world. I will probably end up biting the bullet on a new one. (-:

The Reverend amps were also pretty cool - I tried one and liked it, but sent it back (probably because I had too many amps at the time)...

BUT - Joe's Reverend speakers (Reverend All Tones, I believe) were also incredible. I bought 2 10" 25 watters that I used in several amps (including a couple Princetons) and they sounded just THAT much better than everything else.

I left them in an amp I gave to my son, which I got back recently, and I'm more happy about having the speakers back than the amp (they will get used in other amps in the future!).

Put a Reverend All Tone 1250 in my DRRI years ago and it still sounds great!

A Kingsnake popped up on the local CL recently. He wanted top dollar for it and I don’t blame him.

I think he still had the box for it, too.

Years ago, when Joe was a sponsor here, he sent me a new Slngshot. What a GREAT guitar that was and still is. P90's, a maple neck that should embarrass Fender, and just an interesting design.

Regular Slingshots have just two P90s. With three P90s, it is a "Custom" model, Slingshot Custom (SSC). That SSC (maybe all SSCs?) has two mini toggle switches -- Phase and Studio.

I had a Reverend Club King RT in metallic green that I still regret having sold. I have, from time to time, looked for a replacement to no avail.

I don't look religiously (pun intended), and was just disappointed to see that one recently sold on eBay without me having known about it. Bummer.

"Have you tried Reverb? "

Yes, but as with eBay, not consistently.

I've yet to buy anything there, I haven't bought new gear in some time. I don't need any and looking only gets me in trouble.

As one might probably note around here... I luuuuuvs me some Reverb.

I don’t even post all my acquisitions. I’m sure everyone is tired of hearing about my swashbuckling endeavors there. (-;

I had a Dub King (short-scale, MIK, Reverend bass).

It was impeccably made and generated some great sounds, but the neck just wasn't comfortable for me. I prefer narrow necks & string spacing and am pretty fussy about that.

Probably would've been a fantastic bass for someone else, just not for me.

I, for one, never tire of hearing about swashbuckling.
