Does anyone here know of any recording technology websites that deal with more advanced participants?

I have been doing this recording thing for 40 years and I find it hard to get enthused chatting with a bunch of kids who want to know why their mix sounds good on their speakers but nowhere else. Or, want to know how to EQ something. Like there is a single answer that covers it all.

Hmmm I don't know about advanced but I think Warren Huarts produce like a pro academy is good. Lots of good content and videos. Might check out the free videos on YouTube first.

There's some good stuff on prostudiolive as well. The Steve Albini all analog session video is great and might be up your alley.

I watched the Steve Albini video. I liked that. Not that I am ever going to do anymore recording onto tape but, he has some interesting approaches to fixing problems.
