I've been trying to diagnose a 1970 SR. The reverb just quite working. I've tried replacing both tubes. The reverb tank transducers are reading within tolerance as well as the transformer. What have I overlooked?

Have you done voltage checks on V3 and V4? Have you checked continuity of the reverb cables? Ensure good electrical connection of the tank cables on both the amp and the tank?

I did check continuity of the cables, they're good. I'll check voltages at V3 and V4 and report back.

Check the control pots too. Make sure they're in spec, connections are good, and they have good ground continuity.

I know you said you checked the cables, but have you checked the foot switch for proper operation?
