So we're almost halfway through the year... what kind of lefty stuff are you moving on?

I listed 6 acoustic guitars on Reverb two nights ago.

Sold the first one last night - the Martin OM-21 I just bought back in February! The upside is I sold it for about $150 more than I paid for it!

Others listed for sale (on Reverb):
Taylor GS Mini Mahogany
Taylor Grand Auditorium nylon string
Ovation L717 Legend (1992 or 93)
Ovation Anniversary 1157 (10th Anniv. from '82)
Martin 000-15SM

I'm just not playing these, so it's time to simplify. Not planning on buying anything (hah), just cleaning house.

Decluttering helps focus on playing fewer instruments better/more.

I did sell the J-35. But I can’t think of any others that will go, at the moment. I’ll probably sell one of the Spault-o-Casters.

I recently sold my Taylor 114CE and my Gretsch resonator to fund my new Fender Player Strat.

I don't plan to get rid of anything.

What is this classified forum of which you speak?

I might move my Gretsch G5220LH along. I just got a Streamliner and I like it more. The thinner neck on the 5220 might lead me to part ways with it.

I also have some builds going on and some of those will undoubtedly go. If I break even on them I’m happy. It’s more about the activity than the money.

The Martin OM-21 got sold, then came back to me (long story, won't go into it, but the guy who wanted to return it was a jerk).

Sold the Taylor Mini GS - it shipped today.
Sold the Ovation L717 - still waiting for payment.

Would love to get a couple more outta here before July 4th...and have dropped prices accordingly.

I’ve been lucky on Reverb. No bad experiences selling. Some less than stellar buying transactions, but those were rectified to my satisfaction. That amp I sent to you is the only one of the three I bought that I didn’t ask for a partial refund for not being as described. These other two had undisclosed issues, but the sellers made it right.

Well, the guy who "bought" the Ovation never paid - never communicated at all. Seriously... so it's still here.

But I sold the Martin 000-15SM this week; shipped it - new owner will have it (in Georgia) on Wednesday.

* * * * *

In another vein, I'll soon be sending my Martin J-40 to Bryan Kimsey for some tonal mods: enlarge the soundhole, remove the popsicle brace, shave the lower two back braces to be like vintage Martins, and slot the bridge pin holes. Also told him I'm open to other mod suggestions from him after he gets the guitar.

This should add volume and restore any lost bass that the larger soundhole might take away. This guitar already sounds great, but I get the feeling it can "go to 11"!

Just waiting for him to tell me he has an open slot so I can ship it.

Someone else bought the Ovation yesterday, but asked me not to ship it yet, because of the hot temps (he's in GA, I think). I'll check with him again on Monday.

Then, this morning the Taylor nylon string sold! That will ship out Monday...

...only one of the current batch left is the other Ovation. May be lowering the price again...

...my wife is liking this trend (and I like getting the man cave cleaned out! Some amps, pedals and speakers may be next.)

I might move along the Reverend Buckshot. I haven’t really bonded with it.

The Buckshot looks interesting (I checked out your ad) but I'm also in "herd-thinning" mode... my Epi Elitist may go on the block soon.
