Eric built a Warmoth Tele for me, in the James Burton fashion (Strat middle pickup with the standard Tele pickups and a pull up tone pot to give 7 sounds).

I had him move the volume knob back away from the pup switch - I've always felt that Fender put those too close together for quick pickup changes.

Burgundy Mist with a Maple neck and dark red fret markers - very unique!

The pickup set up is very versatile and now that I've tweaked them a little (raised 'em up a little), it sounds excellent. The in between Strat tones are there, and the middle pickup is great for lots of stuff - handles overdrive well (it's a DiMarzio hum free "single coil").

I'll let Eric share more details if he wants...

...btw, Eric, I did put some EB Slinky 10's on it - now it feels like home!

Here you go

I’ll bet that is killer through that amp!

The fret markers are Bloody Basin Jasper. The neck is a boatneck, 1 11/16”. Stained with vintage amber and finished with Tung Oil. Final sanding of the neck was down to 4000 grit sanding cloth.

The pickups are StewMac Golden Age Tele pickups with a Dimarzio virtual vintage in the middle. That really goes a long ways towards making the 3 pickups play well together. I built mine with the same set.

That is a beaut! Nice work as always.

I lied to the doorman about being a lefty just so I could sneak in here.

Eric, there's nothing wrong with knowing our limitations. Mine was painted by a local body shop.

I’ve got the original body here. I had struggles with the clear. I’ll get back to it. (-:

Off topic note: there's an area outside of Phoenix, AZ called "Bloody Basin". We were visiting there about 10 years ago with friends, and we decided we should move down there and plant a new church...

...wouldn't that be a cool church name?

Bloody Basin Church.
