I’ve recently purchases an inexpensive set, it works pretty well. I based my decision on the reviews. It’s labeled Getaria Wireless Guitar System. At $40.00 I figured it was cheap enough to give it a try. It’ll do what I need it to until the next generation comes out, or the board becomes available. It would be cool to just install the board and battery into a bass build.

I also purchased one recently, even though I have a good Shure wireless that requires a belt battery pack and is more of a hassle to use.
Walmart and a former sponsor here (that normally ships in two days) both sell a rechargeable wireless, it's less than $50 on Walmart's site, and around $20 more on the former sponsor site. Search for Ammoon guitar wireless, the one I got has very good specs. It looks like a small SG style guitar. 5.8 ghz, 5 hour battery life, and I've had no issues so far with it. There are other Ammoon wireless systems but the one I got had the best specs. I had to wait about a week to get it from Walmart.

I’ve been using a Line 6 G55 wireless for many years and absolutely love it. It’s dependable, easy to use, and true to sound...so what more could you ask for?

Another vote for Line 6 (G50) here. It’s a great little trouble free unit and gets about 5 hours out of 2 AA batteries.

"You still happy with yours?"

Most definitely! It not only works great, but I think it's pretty cool looking, also! I've had no problems with it at all.

Glad I was able to help someone here! Let me know how you like it Mick!

I run the sound for a 3 piece Bluegrass/Folk/Gospel band. 2 are hard wired and there is never any issues. 1 has a Shure system and if there are any issues it will be him. I like the dependability and simplicity of the cable. That said, I run the mixer from my iPad. Wireless.

I saw walshb's ammoon unit at the Atl jam & it looks great!

Mine's a WIC (PRA) digital unit made in Lawrenceville, Ga. LiIon batteries that have never gone down during a show and low noise.

As I told Bill the only issue I have is with latency, but only when I venture out into the crowd. Stay within 50 ft. or so and there is none.

I'm using a Line 6 (forget the model) and I like it , mostly. The only gripe is the metal clip that holds the transmitter; it gets bent easily.

BTW, I'm seeing ads all over for various brands of wireless guitar rigs that are very inexpensive. But they all have what seems to me a fatal flaw. The transmitter is a hinged arrangement that sticks out from the guitar just waiting to be whacked on something. Don't think they'd take that too many times.

It's better than a Whirlwind Leader style 1/4" straight cable sticking out, and less likely to snag on a cymbal stand! I'll admit, I have to unplug mine when I set the bass on a stand.
AND it still beats wrassling a cable and battery box into a pocket like my old AKG wireless setup.

I've only had my Joyo for 6 weeks, but I've happily used it for practices and gigs, no issues!

I agree! And for less than $50 I'd just order another if I broke it. The hinged models are a much better design than the first ones that stick straight out, I don't know how they even sold any of those.

I got my Ammoon wireless last week, but only just 'round to trying it today.

Only did the "around the house thing" but it sounds great. I A/B'ed it with a low capacitance cable and I couldn't hear any difference in the tone.

All I need now is a gig!
