Note to self:
When reversing the phase of a tele bridge pickup (to match a middle pickup in a 3 pickup tele)...


remember to switch the base plate ground also!!!


D'oh!

Actually, it's better to take the base plate connection out as a third lead, to the back of a pot or to the jack ground. Otherwise you lose your string ground.

I didn't encounter this. When I tested continuity, I had ground everywhere. I didn't touch directly to the string, but I did touch from the saddle to the pots.

When I test played the guitar, there was no noticeable difference in noise touching/not touching the strings either. I'm sure I would have heard that. (I hope!)

Still a good bit of info to keep in mind for future. Thanks Te.
