How much did you guys pay for ear impressions? I read around and the average price seems to be $60 total, but all of the local audiologists are charging $80-100 per ear. How reasonable is this cost?

About as ordinary as you can get.

If you are a veteran and have hearing loss, you might try the VA.

I honestly don't recall, I got them about 5-6 years ago. I'm still using them and have only changed the music filters once.

$200 is worth it to protect your hearing.

I paid $50 for both about 5 years ago. It is worth every penny. They do impressions at the local Sam's Club here in Ohio. But I have not asked how much it costs.

So I bit the bullet and went and there was confusion because they thought THEY were going to do the final molds! So that was included in the price I was quoted. Price just for ear impressions? $40!
Sent them off to get molds that will fit the Shure earplugs!

I hope they work out for you.

One problem I have with these earplugs is that even though they're molded to fit your ear canals, they have a tendency to move when you sweat while playing and you have to push them back in, sometimes mid-song.
