I don't know how we compare, but I assure you every single time my wife announces that she needs something from Walmart, I immediately drop what I'm doing and offer to drive her there.

We go in, she gets what she needs, I sit on the bench by the registers, near the restrooms, and patiently wait. I tell you my friends, that is the purest form of non-contrived entertainment found anywhere.

The Walmart near me is one of the trashiest ones I've ever been to, which is odd because it's a pretty nice, non-trashy neighborhood. For some reason all the weirdos come here to shop at Walmart.

The stores to the immediate east and west of me don't seem to have that problem.

I have 2 near me: a newer WM Marketplace and a full blown Wally a little further down the road. Due to nearby options I frequent the Marketplace one most often. Typically it's a geezer fest down there. The other takes shifts; geezers by day, and the traditional PoWM denizens when the sun goes down. I try to avoid the latter although the Old People of WalMart can be a trying group, what with their strategically placed carts and confounded yet masterful juxtapositions.

I call the WM closest to home - Opioid-Mart. The slowest people ever at the self check out lines.
There can be no other excuse for the nearly catatonic pace of these people. Stunning.

I don't go to our local Walmart often but it is truly amazing to see the people who patronize that store. I see them nowhere else in our fair community.

I used to go to Wal Mart a lot more when I lived in NC. I never saw the people this website presents.

So we’re Walmart shopper shaming now?

I’m shocked and dismayed

"Then I went after midnight..."

We have an old diner here in town that is populated by ag people in the mornings and much of the day. However (they are a 24/7 operation), go in there at 2AM on a Saturday or Sunday morning and it's like the bar scene in a Star Wars movie. I had no idea people like that lived here. They probably come over from Wullerton...

You can tell if you're in a "good" or "bad" wal-mart (around here, anyway) by whether or not the booze is under lock and key.

I think Missouri may be the most alcohol-friendly state in the country, you can buy booze off the shelf at any supermarket, we don't have an open-container law, and it's a state law that municipalities cannot pass laws against public intoxication.

Michigan is the same way, though most big bottle booze have anti theft caps.

Haven't seen you around these parts in a while MtM, welcome back.

The only thing I bought at Walmart with any regularity was cheap ammo. Now that they have essentially crapped on their customer base, I hope the current trade tariffs on China crap continues and they finally go belly up.

We Rednecks have plenty of other options.
