Ask me how I know!?

They've been doing the 6 different tube thing for quite a while, and seems like they just keep improving on what they've already done.

I've still got the 15W amp linked below, and this series has never gotten the attention it deserves, IMO. I also have the foot switch which makes it much more versatile, and I've gigged with the amp several times.

I did have a problem with the first one, but of course Sweetwater promptly shipped me another one.

I didn’t know that they had been doing the 6 tube thing previous to this.

Those look worth investigating.

I have way too many amps now. Even after thinning my herd I can’t see adding one of these.

I'd like to give one a try. While my Katana 50 has good tones, the FX are less than desirable and quirky to dial them in.

I’ve come to realize that I prefer an amp that I can dial up in the typical fashion. The deep dive via software to dig out tones is not for me.

I agree! The Katana uses amp-like knobs but there are two FX on one knob. Quirky! It appears the new Katanas have remedied that constraint.

This has been my aversion to the Mustangs and Katanas, and my attraction to the Roland Blues Cube and the Fender Tone Master.

As you probably know, I had a Boss Nextone (which *could* be plug & play for the most part) but ultimately was beyond my desired level of tweaking.

I've gotten rid of amps for the same reason. I'm at a point where the fewer knobs and switches on an amp, the better.
