It's metallic blue and states corona on the plate and the headstock states that its made in the USA but I'm wondering if the body is original. Are there extrat codes on the body to confirm

Remove the neck and see what it says in the neck pocket. Check the pup cavities and control cavities and see what the paint looks like under there. You just sorta have to have lots of experience with old guitars to know. How about some pics?

Find out when in the eighties it was made. There is a serial number code checker on the net the can be incredibly accurate. (It told me the date and number run my Gibson LP SL was made!) I may be mistaken but I believe the Corona stuff began in the late 90s. I conclude this because my Tweed Pro Junior I purchased new in 94 was made in Brea, California! Good luck finding out!
