I put a complete set of lil59's in my JV strat and I get some slight hum still with them not near as bad as single coils but it is there also if you rub your finger around the pickguard in the vicinity of the pickup selector you get a loud static like sound . This part quite annoys me as I tend to play with my pinky anchored on the pickguard most of the time . <br /> Everything is ground as per instructions and ground wire to the whammy plate . I put shrink wrap on the ends of the two wires that get soldered to gether as I had this problem also when I just had one 59 in there and thought this might be the issue . Any Ideas? |

The static is what it is. Static. try rubbing a drier sheet on your pickguard. |
