With the new upgraded 2012's out, I was able to get a screaming good deal on a like new 2011 (Musician's Friend Level 1 used, indistinguishable from new other than no plastic on the pickguard). <br /> <br /> I do wish it had the Custom Shop pickups (it may soon), but I must say, this is one of the best playing American Strats I have ever played! So resonant, setup nearly perfect out of the box, I can't put it down!<br /> <br /> So, I guess what I am saying is, if you can get past the absence of th eupgraded pickups, there can be some serious coin to save by checking out one of these 2011's. |

Got a smokin' deal a couple of weeks ago on a new White w/RW fingerboard 2011 that had been lonely on-the-rack at the store for a long time. It needed treatment for fret sprout but it's a great guitar. |

Congrats.I had an 08 in charcoal frost and loved everything but the Modern C neck.The workmanship was flawless and the tone was great . |
