Had the pleasure of playing one of these the other day.

It is a Taylor T5z and the guy playing it does a great job of getting different sounds from it.

Gibson 335 sounds...
Gretch Country Gentleman
Chet Atkins ~ Brian Setzer

This guitar has it all.

Who is that picker? Very good demo of a fine sounding guitar. I've heard them live but the player hadn't mastered them the way this guy does. I like it.

Yup. Excellent demo. One of the best I've ever seen for its thorough explanation and true representation of what an instrument can do. These are $3K. As good as the demo is, it would have been way more fun and a lot funnier if they had let Greg Koch do it. ;-/)

Out of my price range unfortunately.

I'm a Taylor fan being an 814ce owner, certainly not a basher but...I've played every T5 I could get my hands on and just can't get the acoustic sound plugged in I like.

I'm truly spoiled by my Gibson CA SST for live use with a rock/cover band.

Very nice, jhawkr!

I was in a bar in Colorado last summer and some guy was playing one of those. It sounded great, and "versatile" is the right word for them.

Fellow FDPer Mojito has one he plays in the church band. It can cover quite a bit of ground.
