Maybe the theme should be new interpretations of classics?

if kept in the same key and a YouTube link provided we can make sure all are on the same sheet of music

We did do Cake's "I will survive" one year

New players are more than welcome. This is a great bunch of people, players and gear mongers. fun to play with, hang with drink and eat with. I have a guest room at my house on the grounds if anyone from out of town wants to stay over/ This can be a long fun day.

Ya know "Stairway to Heaven" should be on the list at least once. This is ClamFest 12 I believe.

Aw hell, that's 2 hours closer than my trip to the Xenia Lake Jams. This sounds like something I need to consider if I'm still upright at the time.

the grounds are two minutes off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 100A-B. smack in the middle between NYC and Philly. Small airport is 3 miles away if you want to fly in.

"small airport is 3 miles away if you want to fly in."

I've considered that in the past, but my 4x12 stack won't fit in my Ercoupe. Foiled again! [shakes fist at the sky]

do I hear a yes on the Beatnix version of Stairway??? We can get some really good harmonies...calling Bobo....conjure up your ringo beats and your john Lennon vocals

Geno if we do Short Skirt, Long Jacket I want the vocals! I will figure out the trumet part on something- maybe a bicycle pump or my hooter

I was thinking (I know thats dangerous for me!) if Geno is bringing the Banjo why don't we do Amie by Pure Prarie league? The banjo will fit in nicely

Tons of good guitar in there as well. Also imagine the harmonies- we can have everyone do the chorus

Plenty of percussion for the kids to get up and shake the tambourine or maracas - good group song

I will take vocals if this gets enough love

I always thought Kashmir would sound pretty cool with the amount of guitars on stage at one time. It would definately qualify as a strings section.
