FDP Cookbook : Side Dishes : Pull-Apart Dinner Rolls
(submitted by ISL )

Ingredients

3 cups bread flour
1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt
4tbsp melted butter
1 egg beaten well
milk

Directions

activate yeast in 1/4 cup warm 110F water for 10 min or until bubbly.

Add beaten egg + enough milk to equal 1 cup. Add melted butter.

Mix dry ingredients and first cup of flour. Stir in wet ingredients to make a batter. Add one cup of flour at a time, kneading until smooth, about 10 minutes.

Easy rolls that are sure to please!

Let rise in a greased bowl covered in plastic wrap for 1.5 to 2 hours. Punch dough down, form into smooth balls on greased cake sheet or even in a greased round cake pan. You can also make 3 little balls of dough and place in a muffin tin for pull-apart rolls.

Let rise covered about 40 minutes, they will be doubled & puffy. Bake at 425F for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are brown.

Makes about 12 rolls. Double that for a large crowd.
