Light grill
Clean Asparagus, snap off stem end (they'll break naturally at the "right point"), and dry
Place asparagus in 1 gallon bag with several tablespoons of olive oil; turn bag over a couple times to coat the asparagus
Place directly on medium heat gril and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Remove as soon as you see the first sign of wrinkles or when you can pick up one end and it just begins to sag (about 8-10 mins @ 350 on my grill). They should be al dente.
Server immediately.
I frequently do this with steaks and a nice beaujolais, but it goes with just about anything. It's enough of a family favorite that I'll fire up the grill just for this.
