FDP Cookbook : Beverages : Jack & Coke
(submitted by AudioJack )

Ingredients

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
Coke
Qualiy ice

Directions

I'm very picky about my ice when it comes to my whiskey drinking. I prefer bagged ice or rough ice. I do not like your typical freezer's home brew ice. It's got to have some rough edges to it. Ultimate case scenario is if you got an ice block, chisel some off using an ice pick. Grab yourself a nice quality whiskey glass. NEVER NEVER NEVER pour Jack Daniel's into a plastic, paper, or styrofoam cup; this will only serve to diminish your experience as well as insult the whiskey which your about to consume.. Fill nearly to top with QUALITY ice. Pour in 3 oz. Jack over the ice. Listen to the ice crackle as booze hits home and the ice knows it has met its maker. This is a great time to take a whiff off the bottle and engross your senses with the sweet yet burnt brown sugar and charcoal aroma of Jack Daniel's before putting the cap back on. Now pour in 2 oz. Coke. Give it a quick shake and you’re ready to consume.
