FDP Cookbook : Desserts : New York Style Cheesecake

Ingredients

5 packages cream cheese
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon lemon zest
5 large egg
2 each egg yolks
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups graham crackers, processed
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 550 degrees

2. Beat together cream cheese,1 1/2 cups sugar,flour, orange and lemon zests until smooth with an electric mixer

3. Add eggs and yolks 1 at a time until incorporated

4. Add vanilla and mix in

6. Mix processed graham crackers,1/3 cup sugar, butter and salt

7. press crumb mixture into 9 inch spring form pan covering bottom and 1 inch up sides

9. pour cake mix into pan

10. place pan onto baking sheet and insert on ovens middle shelf
