FDP Cookbook : Beverages : My Wife's Southern Sweet Tea
(submitted by Yankeefan01 )

Ingredients

Empty 1 gal. pitcher
1/2 to 2/3 cup sugar
*more or less for preference and definitely none of that artificial stuff
8 teabags
Plenty of ice and cold water

Directions

In an empty 1 gal. pitcher add 1/2 to 2/3 cup sugar.

Fill pitcher 1/2 way with boiling water.

Stir 'til sugar is disolved.

Add 8 teabags.

Steep 'til it's strong enough to walk then remove 'em.

Fill the rest of the way with ice and cold water.

Stir it all up and enjoy. This recipe has been perfected from years of field research down south as we're Northerners that love the South and need an excuse to head down there at least once a year.
